Gail Halpin is a self taught artist born in Katoomba, Blue Mountains. Now living in Sydney, art has always been a part of her life. Gail has taken short courses and art class in many disciplines in between being a full time nurse and raising two kids. In her later years the entire bottom floor of her house has been converted into an art studio to focus on the joy and fulfilment of art making.
Art for Gail is about meditation and colour harmony, with every stroke (or dot) working to create a full cohesion of colour, line and form.
Gail is an extremely prolific artist; most days are spent painting and the other days are spent thinking about it.
